It is persistently reported in. 'Dime quarters that Sueida has fallen after a bombardment in which the. western wall of the citadel was destroyed and severe . hand-to-hand fighting. One hundred and fifty French prisoners, quantities of ammunition, and supplies, three' armoured cars, a battery of guns and numerous machine guns were cap. tured. ’
