Rediearn (two) to one, scored by' Stewart. 1 )’ B Section.- —Southland beat Poverty Bay by two goafe, scored by- Ashley and Horper, to nil ; HaAvke-’ s Ray -beat Wellington by six goals, scored by 'Jook (three), 'Hamlin (ttwo) and Lean, to four, scored by Wilkins (two), Harper, .and Hen-derison. : LADIES-’ HOCKEY. HAWKRA v. NEW PLYMOUTH. - New' Plymouth Old Girls defeated Haiwera on their own. ground on Saturday 'afternoon ‘by three goals to nil after a very good game. The home team, (showed superiority throughout, but 'the Kaiwera defence prevented a high score. Goals were scored by F. Knapman (2) iand V. Mountfotrd, ■ Mr. O. Prior refereed.
