ANGLO-RUSSIAN RELATIONS.
TCHITCHERIN BLAMES BRITAIN. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —GOP YRIGHJ LONDON, Aug. 24. M. Tchitcherin (Soviet Commissary for Foreign Affairs), in ail exclusive interview with the Moscow correspondent of the Daily Herald (the Labour paper)), regretted that Anglo-Russian relations were at present rather strained, which he attributed to British diplomacy’s universal hostile attitude and the' policy of a united front against Russia advocated by members of the British Cabinet and the newspapers. He regarded Britain’s efforts to con. elude a guarantee pact with Germany and the Western Powers as in reality directed against Russia, aiming at the destruction of friendly Russo-German relations. The pact' would not go to strengthen peace, but, on the contrary, would create new dangers.
