An accident happened this afternoon at Matapu, when a young man named Wright, aged 24, of Waihi road, Hawora, received injuries to his head and through being thrown from a motor cycle. Details are as yet very meagre, but it is believed he was riding along behind a waggon, and in passing a motor car collided with the waggon. He was brought in to the Hawera Hospital, but the extent of his injuries was not known when the paper went to press.
