ESTATE OF WILLIAM KERR. MEETING OF CREDITORS. A meeting of creditors in the estate of William Kerr, ex-manager of the Union Rank at Stratford, was held at Stratford yesterday, when the Deputy Official Assignee (Mr. J. S. Medley, of New Plymouth) presided. The unsecured creditors totalled £1368 8s 9d. There were no secured creditors. The assets were estimated at £325, leaving a deficiency of £1043 8s 9d. After a lengthy hearing the D.O.A. was instructed /to reject. "a certain claim should proof be lodged, in order that the creditors might lie given the oppor_ tunity of examining the circumstances of the debt.
