LATEST AVIATION INVENTION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, August 3. Th e Air Ministry is examining a Savage-Brampton indicator, an invention resembling a -balanced van attach, ed to tlie struts of machines. It is designed to obviate stalling, which is the most dangerous feature of modern flying. When stalling speed is approached, the vane automatically warns the pilot to adjust the “joy stick.”— A. and N.Z. Assn.
