STAND COLLAPSES.

SENSATION AT A CIRCUS. A sensational accident occurred at Messrs. Sole Bros.’ circus at Kingaroy a few days ago. About 400 people were sitting upon a large trestle stand, when, during the performance, the structure collapsed. For some time all was confusion, and in the stampede many fainted. In. all, about 10 persons were slightly injured, but only one case of bone fracture was reported. Ambulance cars hurried to the tent, and two local doctors were busily engaged in attending to the casualties, none of which, fortunately, was serious. A similar accident happened at Sole Bros.’ circus in Kingaroy about two years ago.
