A LIBERAL’S QUESTIONNAIRE.

Sir, —May I, through the columns of youv paper, ask the local president of. the United Progressive Jl.ibenal and Sane Labour Party, commonly known as the “Lib-Labs.* 5 a few questions?
(lj Are the followers of the old LibLab Party supposed to join up with the new Nationalist Party?
(2) Which party will the sane Labour element be supposed to join up with? (3) Will there be any connection between the new New Zealand Nationalist Party and the old Irish Nationalist Party?
(4) Are the heads of the new Nationalist- Party ashamed of the grand old name of Liberal?
(5l In what respect will the Nationalist Party differ from the Reform Party? '
(0) Why were the party followers not. consu 1 ted re the change of name? I think the foregoing will be sufficient questions to answer at one sitting. And in the meantime, until I get a satisfactory reply, and so know where 1 am in the present political maze, T shall stick to the lovely old name of LIBERAL. Inaha. July 25.
