COMPR EHENSIVE INSURANCE. NEW SCHEME ARRANGED. FOR. COMING SEASON. (By Telegraph—Special to Star.) WELLINGTON, July 20. The Dairy Control Board has completed an ' insurance contract with Lloyd’s for the insurance on all exported butter and cheese of a comprehensive nature. It covere the. product from the time the milk is weighed into the factory until 30 days after delivery in England, or 10 days after arrival at Continental and American ports. The rates are: Butter, 7s 3d per cent. Cheese, 9s 9d per cent. This includes insurance during coastal transit, which was formerly a separate charge. Under the new arrangement factories shipping on the coast enjoy a. reduction, but there is a slight increase on shipments from the main ports. Increased rates were anticipated, but the total estimated amount is only £3OOO on the whole export. The new contract commences on September 1.
