CITY BURGLARIES.
SEQUEL IN AUCKLAND. FOUR. MEN CHARGE©. (BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, July 16. As the sequel to ia« recent series of city burglaries, four men came before the Magistrate’s Court this morning. James Dave.rn, who .pleaded not guilty, was committed for trial on a charge of breaking and entering with intent, to commit a crime; Charles Grace was committed for trial on a charge of breaking and entering and theft of two motor cycles and magnetos ; Bernard Brunimell Gordon Wildermoth was committed for trial on several charges of (breaking and entering and theft; and Alexander Rea, who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and theft of goods valued at £3OS, wtas committed for sentence to the Supreme. Court. In evidence, both Wildermoth and Rea said they were with Davern when he broke into Hancock and Co ’s premises and dynamited the safe.
