WEDDING.

RIDDICK—CORBISHLEY. A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Ivaponga, on Wednesday, May 2 1, when Sarah Hilda, second daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Corbishley., Malioe, was married to Hughie Elliott, second son of Mrs and the late Mr H. R. Riddick, of River lea. Tlie Rev. C. W. Sol onion was the officiating minister. The bride, who wa s given away by her father, was attired in a dainty frock of white silk, wfth panels of brocaded marocam, edged'with headed trimming, and caught at the sides with silk flowers and pearl ornament. A beautifully embroidered veil, lent by her sister, was arranged over a coronet- of orange blossoms. She carried a charming bouquet of chrysanthemums, and hells , and asparagus fern and white ribbon streamers. She was attended by her sister Lily a q bridesmaid, who wa.s attired in a dainty frock of apricot silk figured marocain, with mauve trimmings and liat to tone. Her bouquet was of chrysanthemums and autumntinted leaves, with tulle streamers to match. The bouquets were kindly given by Mr s C. H. of Kaponsa. Mr James Coomhes, of Rowan, fulfilled the duties of best man. A reception was afterwards held at the .residence of the bride’s parents, and later in the day the happy couple left bv car for Wanganui, en route to Auckland. The bride’s travelling dres R was of dawn grey gabardine and mole velour coat, with panne velvet hat ,to match.
