Received July 16, 2.15 p.m. SYDNEY, July 16. Mr. L-ang (State Premier) has issued a- ukase to the Railway Commissions ordering the restoration of seniority of men who were disrated -as- a result of the great 1917 railway and tramway strike.
Loyalists, wli-o obtained promotion as a result of disrating the strikers, and who will now bo superseded in- order to restore pre-strike seniority, will continue to receive their present pay. The Government will reimburse the commissioner:s> the extra cost involved, running into a large sum.
