OAKES TO DIE

Arthur Augustus Oakes was to-day found guilty of the murtder of Mona Readier and sentenced to death. Miss Beadier, who had gone through the marriage ceremony with accused, who was already married, wais found dead in a cottage at Toronto, near Newcastle,, on May 21. Mrs. Oakes gave evidence that Oakes had always been good to her and the children, but was childish and esai-ly led.
