For a considerable time a gang of boy criminals known as the “kniekerbocker gang.” has committed many daring robberies in the city and suburbs, and managing to evade police vigilance. Its latest exploit was a raid on the premises of McGown and Coy., motor agents, where they poured petro over a car and set it alight. The brigade quelled the flames before it spread to fifty other cars stabled on the premises. The intr ders also stole a quantity of goods. A number of other places in the vicinity have been raided lately, and valuable goods have been stolen.
The police surprised two boys smashing windows at the Small Arms Company’s shop. One tv a s arrested witt three stolen revolvers in bis possession.
