BUSINESS NOTICES.
A reminder is- given of the sale of superior household furniture and effects that is being held on .account of Mr J. W. Black, 32 Erin Street, on Wednesday next. The goods are really firstclass, and comprise articles- of oak and rimu of high quality. The sale, which is being conducted by R. P. Morrissey and Co., is timed to start at 1 o’clock punctually to give those attending an oportunity of seeing the football match afterwards if they so desire. With the idea of meeting the convenience of man yof the (lady visitors to the Show, and taking advantage of the opportunity to extend the work of the society, the ladies of the local Plunket- Society are arranging to have a rest room in charge of Nurse Dix at the Show from Wednesday to Saturday, inclusive. It is . hoped that free use will be made of the- rest room, and it should be noted that- -on each afternoon Nurse Dix may he consulted personally. The location is next to the Plunket “hoop-la” stall, for which, by the wav the ladies ask a lib-era- 1 , patronage. ' . »
