WINTER SHOW.
OPENS AT HAWERA NEXT
TUESDAY
The Winter Show Buildings are a hive of industry this week with preparations for that annual event, to be opened there next Tuesday. The airplications for space, as well as the entries in all classes, have been a record, and will make the 1925 show the greatest in the- long line of big shows held in Hawera. The feature will be publicity for Mount Egmont and Hawera. and this will be stressed all the time of the show. The exhibit of pictures and photographs of New Zealand by the Publicity Department will be something such as has seldom been seen before in the Dominion. The show, too, will be outstanding because of the holding of the X.D.A. annual meeting here tfiis year, and the reception and entertainment of the large number of delegates from all parts of New Zealand. On the Wednesday evening they will be entertained at a grand social, on Thursday they will lie taken to Dawson Falls to see something of the mountain, and also they will be shown some parts of the rich dairying lands of South Taranaki.
