THE FAIRY DANCERS.

If you are ah e to procure a len.th of plain glass, you will be able to arrange a very amusing pastime by its aid. First you make a number of tiny fairy fingers, simply cutting them out of coloured tissue paper. They should not he more than an inch high. Prop the length of glass up by placing a thick hook under each end. Place the fairy dancers on the bare table right under the glass. Now take a silk handkerchief and briskly rub along the glass. Soon you will, find that the little people under the glass get up and commence to hop up and down, and the brisker you rub the more merrily will they dance.
