The attitude of the United States towards Mexico as expressed in Mr Kellogg’s recent declaration is condemned in a statement issued by the Latin American Union, which says: The secretary’s statements show “that want of respect for the sovereignty of our peoples which is characteristic of White House, whatsoever be the panAmerican principles which it pretends to support regarding equality, of nations.” The statement continues:

“Argentine people cannot remain indifferent to the outrage inflicted upon a brother country.”—A. and N.Z. Assn.
