There is considerable unrest among exhibitors at Wembley owing to the relatively small attendance, and the high rents and expenses. Exhibitors demand that a popular sixpenny day should be inaugurated, and the price of admission after seven o’clock every evening reduced to sixpence. The exhibition authorities are already considering a reduction of the entrance price to one shilling. SOCIETY DIVORCE. LONDON, June 15. The Marquess of Queensbury was granted a divorce on the grounds of his wife’s misconduct with Sir James Dunn. KAHA NAM OKU ’ S FEA T. NEWTORK, June 15. Kahanamoku, the Hawaiian swimmer, figured prominently in the rescue of a fishing party of 17 on board the Newport yacht Thelma, which capsized. Kahanamoku made six trips on a <surf board, bringing one ashore each trip. Kahanamoku assisted the other rescuers to secure six more of the Thelma’s party and then located the bodies of five who were drowned. BRITISH TAXATION. LONDON, June 16.
