(Received June 16, 11.45 a.m.) CAPETOWN, June 15. After three months’ experiment, the Union air mail service has been discontinued on the ground that it is unremunerative. The last flight from Capetown to Durban is being made today. Prom a flying point of view the service has been a complete success, and has attained 100 .per cent, efficiency, being well up to time on every occasion, but support both from Britain and the Union was inadequate. —Aus.N.Z.
