FIFTH LAP. MAJORITY OF COMPETITORS COMPLETE IT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. BERLIN, June 9. Thirty-five out of thirty-eight airmen who participated in the fifth and last circuit in the round-Germany flight have so far returned to Tempelhof aerodrome. The winners of the competition will not be announced for a fortnight. The fastest speed for the last circuit was attained by Baumer, with a sixty horse-power machine, in Bhrs Smins. Two “babies” compelted this circuit in 16 hours. Loerzen will probably be the winner in the under forty horse-power class, as he has flown the ‘greatest mileage, although unable to complete the last circuit through A forced landing.—Reuter.
