SAD AFFAIR.

INFANT’S UNEXPECTED DEATH. On Saturday evening the fourteen months old child of Mr. and Mrs. Parrish, of Te Koti, died under sad and strange eiicumstanees. It appears that while the parents came to town the child was leit in the charge of its grandmother. On their return thev found the child was ill, and not thinking it serious, it was put to bed. At about 6.30, p.m. the mother found the child dead. A doctor who was ea'le-I in was unable to certify as io the cause of death. A post mortem examination was made yesterday and an inquest will be held this afternoon.
