They plied him with questions regarding Rotorua. The Diike thought the stags’ heads, the finest collection he had ever seen,'-and was surprised at the size of the trout compared-with British. The Duchess was highly amused at the butter models of nursery rhyme characters and Alice in Wonderland scenes.
