WELLINGTON EAST ELECTORATE. fBY TELEGRAPH PEERS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Mdy 19. Mr Darroch, headmaster of the Terrace School, has announced himself as a candidate for Wellington East. THROUGH BOOKING OF GOODS. WELLINGTON, May 19. The new system of booking passengers and goods from any station to any other station in either island is meeting with support. Already the goods traffic averages 10 tons per day, although the system has only been operating for a week. The department is now considering the collection and delivery of goods from door to door.
