Middlesex, in their first innings, made 138. White took six wickets for 43 runs. The second innings resulted in 106 for one wicket (Dales not out 53.). Lancashire, in their first innings, made 321 (Hallows 140, Green 56.) Seobie took five wickets for 112. Scotland, in their first innings, made 52. R. Tvldesley took four for three, and Parkin four for 28. Th© second innings resulted in a. score of 195. Parkin took five for 49. Playiiifr for Surrey against Glonuester, Hobbs made 104. Playing for Yorkshire against Worcester, ICilner took five wickets for 74 in the first innings and Macaulay seven for 20 in the second innings. For Worcester, Rogers took eight for 85. For Northants against Hampshire, Wright took five for 42. For Sussex against Essex Tate took five for 43.
