THE FAIRY COBBLER.
X saw a, Fairy Gobbler. Not more than one inch tall, CVoss-legged upon a toadstool, Quite near a cottage wall. He stitched at' gossamer, grey and torn, His little body bent, I grieved to see him labour O’er such, a giant rent. I called to him quite softly, “Gobbler; what i»’t you. seam?” He shook ,an old. grey head arid said, “I mend a, broken dream ”
