HAWERA DISTRICT SCHOOL.
CELEBRATION OP JUBILEE ON FRIDAY. The most important event in the life of the Hawera District School'will be celebrated on Friday, when the jubilee of the opening of the school will be commemorated. There will be a great social followed by a dance in the Winter Show buildings, commencing at 8 p.m., to which a general jnvitation is given." Tickets may be obtained from the chairman (Mr j. W. Harding) or any member of the Committee or from the lion, secretary (Mrs. J. P. p a sre). During the day old teachers and scholars and visitors will be received at the school.
