At the International Council of Women the recent activities of the Australian . and New Zealand delegations included discussions relating to laws affecting women and children, in which Australian practices were quoted as an example, infant and maternal care, in which New Zealand was leading, and tree-planting campaign to beautify cities. The Australian delegation expressed the opinion that the natural beautification of Washington could be carried out at Canberra. The New Zealand delegation cabled their condolences to Airs. Alassey. The meetings have concluded.
