There was rioting on the old fields at Eldorado, Arkansas, when a band oi two hundred oilfield workers marched upon the camp of eighty-eight negroes who were engaged in the construction of a pine line. Several were wounded and were brought to Eldorado. It is reported that several were killed. Approximatelv a hundred shots were exchanged. The negroes deserted the camp.
