AIRMEN’S 2000 FT. TEST DROP

NEW YORK, April 16

Sergeant R. L, Rose and Corporal Arthur Bergo, at Mitchell Field, Long Island, jumped from an aeroplane 3000 feet up. They dropped 2000 feet before opening their parachutes, and both c-ame clown safely.

Theip object was to demonstrate that a person dropping from a great height does not necessarily lose consciousness.—Central News.
