SUB-COMMITTEE MEETS. DEPARTMENT’S ADVICE TO BE SOUGHT. '(Following on the meeting of the Executive of the Taranaki Federation of Daii-.v Factories, the sub-committee of the Federation, Messrs. Winks, Corrigan and Murdoch, with Mr. Duncan, paid a visit to the Hawem Glover Road Factory to look into the probable requirementis, and to discuss, the procedure to he taken in connection with the establishment of a dairy laboratory. The question was looked .at in all its bearings and after some discussion it was reseolved to communicate with Dr. Reakbs. head of -the Department, in reference to securing a man qualified for the position and also in regard to the plant necessav.v. When his reply' is received the matter will be considered.
