He ex[>eots to return .by September next. The newly-appointed postmaster for Stratford, Mr G. H. Morrish, of Dargaville, is expected to take over his new duties on Monday. Mr R. Peebles, who has been promoted to the position of chief postmaster at Thames, will probably leave Stratford on Tuesday- next.—Post. At a representative meeting of delegates from various Reform committees, held at Stratford, Mr E. Walter, of Douglas, was chosen as the candidate to represent the party in the Stratford electorate at the next general elections. There were no other nominations.
