(From Our Own CorrespondenL). CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. At a meeting ol\ the Manaia Chamber of Commerce held on Monday night there was a fair attendance of members. Mr N. G. Nielson presided. ft was decided to interview the.postmaster at Manaia with, regard to the despatch of correspondence and the various train and steamer connections made by letters posted after the morning mailt ot Manaia had closed. It was also decided to circularise the various Chambers of Commerce in Taranaki asking them to interview the officials of the Postal Department objecting to further charges on private letter-boxes, also on the non-delivery of parcels in Manaia over lllbs in weight and above certain dimensions. The local postmaster is to be approached with a request for a penny-in-the-slot stamp machine for Manaia Post Office, also for the installation of a public telephone bureau to he placed outside the post office. FOOTBALL. The following Soccer teaili will represent Manaia in the match against Halve rn at Manaia on Saturday at 2 p.m. —Forwards, R. Muggeridge, C. Corbett, H. Pollard, Maddock, C.
