CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW.
DISPLAY AT KAPONGA. ' OPENING TO-MORROW. Judging by indications concerning the number and quality of entries to be exhibited at the chrysanthemum show-, to be held under-the auspices of the Kaponga Cloquet Club, in the Kaponga Town Hall to-morrow, it may be confidently anticipated that an exceedingly attractive array of autumn blooms will be displayed. The schedule comprises a .comprehensive range of chrysanthemums, cut blooms, pot plants and home industries classes, all of which, it is expected, will be well represented, w"hile amongst the special exhibits not included in the competitions that to be showh by Mr F. Daines, of New Plymouth, whose chrysanthemums have won several championships during the last two seasons, should add greatly to the public interest. The official opening is timed for 2.30 p.m., and Mr O. J. Hawken, M.P., has intimated that, provided he is not called to Wellington, lie will perform the ceremonies of the occasion. The doors, however, will be open as from 1.30 p.m., and the show* will be continued daring the evening.
