MORE MEN WORKING. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, April 25. The decision of a section of trade unions to declare Walsh Island “black” has had little effect, upon .the progress of work at the dockyards. Yesterday the Minister of Work (Hon. Ball) received official notification that there were more men at work than on the previous- day. Air. Ball stated that no increase in wages would lie given to the strikers. The men ,had a legal remeclv .and would have to abide by the law. A mass meeting of members of unions at the dockyard will he held on Moriday," when the position of the strikers will be fully explained.
