The Chamber voted a credit of thirtyfive million francs for the first instalment- for budding a light, cruiser and three destroyers, four torpedo .boats, also a number of small craft, the keels of which will be laid' in 1925, all forming ‘part, of the programme which the Government will shortly submit to Parliament. The work is being pushed on to avoid unemployment in the shipyards and arsenals.
