PT UNKET SOCIETY AND BOY SCOUTS.

A COMBINED BUILDING

\t the Borough Council meeting last night the Mayor (Mr. L. A. Bone) took occasion to reF<?i* to the building centlv. erected for the combined use or the Plunket Society and the Bov Scouts. He said that originally, permission had been granted to the Boy scouts to erect a hall on 11 borough section in Albion Street. Then the Plunket Society had come in. and by mutual arrangement with the Scouts had agreed to erect part ot an en-iaro-ed building. It was also agreed that the society should occupy the 1 rout portion and the Scouts the back pan if the building. Now, said the Mavor both wanted the right to the building. They, should realise that both rested there on the goodwill or the council, and if any. dispute arose they could rest assured the conned would do the right thing.
