LONDON, April 12. Air. Ramsay MacDonald, in a special' interview with the Daily Herald, extensively examines the menace of German competition. Air. AlacDonald advocates encouraging Germany to fight / for higher wages and shorter hours. If that is not achieved, German sweated goods will continue to menace us, and Europe will be dragged down to Germany’s economic level. Her low consumption reduces our selling opportunities. At the same time her own production on low standards hampers - ours. . Air. AlacDonald believes that concerted action through the Amsterdam Internationale will dissipate some of the difficulties confronting British workshops.
