The Hon. G J. Anderson, Minister of Mines, accompanied by his private secretary, departmental and Crown law officers,’arrived iii New Plvmouth last night bv the, mail train;- and Mr Anderson, with his secretary, returned to Wellington by the mail .train this morning. The hurried visit . was occasioned by matters connected with the oil boring work now in progress, and. the Harbour Board leases. As a result, of the conference held last evening, satisfaetorv arrangements have been concluded. '
