A striking appeal has been issued, signed by prominent leaders of all sections of the communitv, including Lord Burnham. Lord Harris, the Earl of Oxford, Earl Haig, the Bishop of London. Mr Ramsay MacDonald, Mr Lloyd George and Sir John Simon, pleading for a national movement for the provision of a more adequate number of playihg 'fields throughout the country.
