MOUNT LOGAN EXPEDITION. The Alpine Club of Canada and the American Alpine .Club are forming an expedition to climb Mount Logan in the spring. The American -representative will be Mr. Allan Carpe, with Mr. Henry S. Hall, of Boston, and Mr. Robert M. Morgan, of Milwaukee, as supporters. Mount Logan is in the Yukon territory, not far from the Alaska border, and is the highest mountain in North America Its height is given variouslj as 19,51'4ft. and 19,539 ft. Twenty-six miles to the south-west lies Mt. St. Elias 17,975 ft.), and about the same distance due south is Mount Cook (13,754 ft.), both in Alaska. They al rise from a general level of 10,009 ft. or more. Mt, • St. Elias has already been climbed. .
