THE NEW GOLF COURSE

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Allow me, through the medium of your columns, to congratulate the Golf Committee in being successful in obtaining links for the coming season. I am sure a great deal of worry has been theirs. Now, since the country obtained is described ,as the right class for a golf course, I hope they will continue in the right course, and, if it has not yet been considered, I would strongly suggest engaging the services of a professional to lay out the new course, and np.t to depend too much on local knowledge. It must be recognised that golf architecture is an accomplishment not usually possessed by players of a few seasons.—l ain, etc.,' INTERESTED.
