FELL THOUSAND FEET.
DISASTER OVERTAKES MINERS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. PARIS, March 26. Eighty miners were coming up in a cage from the Werlenbach mine in the Moselle region when the cage crashed down one thousand feet. Thirty have been raised from the pile of mangled bodies, and four .have since died. The. rest are shockingly injured and there is little hope for the remainder. The accident was due to the breaking of a, cage chain.
