The Quadra’s captain claimed that the vessel was on the high seas, but the Court ruled that it was within the twelve mile limit.
Owing to heavy seizures by the Govern me ntT agents the rum-running trade from Western Canadian ports is almost at a standstill.—Sydney Sun Cable.
