FOOTBALERS’ ART UNION

SATTSFASTORY RESULT

A statement in connection with the footballers’ art union, submitted by the organiser, Mr L. O. Hooker, and to be placed before the meeting of the Hawera Football Club to-night, shows that the nett amount realised is £251 8s tid, and this is being held in trust for the club.

The sale of tickets realised £517 10s 2d, and the sale of gold nugget to the bank £l4O 3s 6J. The expenses of running the aft union totalled £ll2 5s 2d, and the amounts paid out were as follows: —Prizes, £145; bank for nugget, £l5O.
