A verdict was returned of suicide while of unsound mind, the- husband by self-inflicted wounds and the wife by gas poisoning. Tihe evidence .showed that both died before they were burnt. Le Roy, a mechanical engineer, gave evidence that hei worked with Guiard on a. new invention, of which he lmcw the secret and believed that- eventual success was assured. An earlier message stated that Guiard’s action was the result of the rejection, of inventions which lie had spent many years iu perfecting.
