PUBLIC NOTICES. HAWERA BOROUGH COUNCIL. "VTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Hawera Borough Council, held at the Council Chambers, Hawera. on MONDAY, the Ifith day of March, 1925, the following resolution was passed: Whereas the sum of £1552, borrowed by the Hawera Borough Corporation, is due and payable on the 20th day of July, 1925, and whereas the sinking funds in respect of the said loan are insufficient to pay off the same, and the sum of £9OO is required to pay off the said loan. Now therefore the Hawera Borough Council, at a Special Meeting of the said Council held at the Council Chambers, Hawera, on the 16th day of March, 1925, and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” hereby resolves by way of special order — FIRST—To raise a special loan of £9OO under “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” for the purpose of paying off the said special loan of £1552, which is due and pavable on the 20th day of .Tulv, 1925. SECOND —That the said special loan of £9OO be called ‘The general Street Improvements Repayment Loan of £9OO (1925).” THIRD —That the currency of the said special loan be for a period of 7 years from the 20th day of July, 1925. FOURTH —That the interest on the said special loan be at the rate of £6% per annum, and be payable half-yearly on the 20th days of January and July in each year. FIFTH —That a yearly sinking fund of £ll6 per annum, payable half-yearly, be created for repayment of the said special loan. . SIXTH—That- the said special loan of £9OO and the interest, sinking fund and other charges in respect thereof shall be charged upon and be secured by a special rate of 7/100 of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hawera, which special rate is intended to be created by the special order of which this resolution forms part. And notice is further given that a meeting of the said Council . will be held at the Council Chambers on MONDAY, the 20th day of April, 1925, at which the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation. - Dated this 18th day of March, 1925.
