ey CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received March 16, 11.55 a..m. CAPETOWN, March 15.
An into resiting situation has been created 'by' the Transvaal Provincial Council passing a. want 'of confidence resolution in the Administrator, Hofmeyer. He refused to resign, whereupon all Transvaal members of the Ministry, Messrs. Roos, Creswell, Kemp, Grobler and all Transvaal members of the South African pact signed a declaration concurring in the noconfidence vote. This will be presented to the Premier and Provincial Council. The vote was avowedly a party vote, and muicth. public interest centres in what Premier Hertzog will say, to what in tantamount is -an ultimatum from his Transvaal sup-porters.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
