GENERAL STRIKE COMMENCED. 'i BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT HOME, March 13. A general strike has started among the iron and steel workers in Lombardy, a hundred thousand being out. The demand is for an increase in wages. bascist workers were the first to strike, but the Socialist trade unions, seeing their opportunity, butted in ana ordered a general strixe.
