REDUCTION" IN INCOME TAX

LONDON, March 14. The Navy Estimates, complete the expenditure side of the Budget,. which, apart from the debt charges, totals ■€407,470,000, compared with £416,485,000 for 1924-25. The Daily Express lobbyist says the income tax wil| definitely be reduced by sixpence. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr. Winston Churchill) decided against penny postage and a reduction ip the beer duty.
